Throughout different social environments and venues pupils will develop their social skills in order to engage in appropriate interaction and
commentary.

Autism Awareness for pupils
Course Title: Autism Awareness for pupils
Course Description:
This one hour session is taught in the classroom to all mainstream pupils. It provides pupils with an introduction to autism and discusses issues that pupils with autism may have within a school environment. Autism awareness can be tailored to KS2 or secondary classes.
Course Outcomes:
Pupils will have a basic understanding of autism
Pupils will have an increased understanding of any peers who have an autism diagnosis.
